Weltanalyse.de is committed to trustworthy Swedish journalism that helps readers understand complex issues without spin or oversimplification. This editorial policy explains the standards, processes and safeguards we apply to every piece of content we publish, from hard news to opinion, sponsored material and AI-assisted work. It is designed to give you confidence in what you read and a clear route to raise concerns.
Who is responsible for what we publish?
Ultimate editorial responsibility rests with Chefredaktör David Schuster (anders.lindqvist@weltanalyse.de, +46 8 525 030 61). He sets our editorial standards, makes final publication decisions and oversees corrections. Day‑to‑day newsroom management is led by Redaktionschef Daniela Sommer, who reviews headlines, commissions stories and ensures that every article meets our quality bar before it goes live.
Named writers draft each article, and a designated editor – either a desk editor or a senior journalist – reviews it for accuracy, fairness and clarity. Fact‑checking is handled by Stefanie Lang, who verifies sources, data and claims before publication. Every journalist on our team is listed on the Our Team page, along with their contact details and areas of responsibility.
How do we distinguish news from opinion, features and sponsored content?
We clearly label each type of content so you always know what you are reading. News articles report facts and context without editorialising. Opinion pieces are clearly marked as such and carry the author’s name and viewpoint. Features are deeper, analysis‑driven pieces that blend reporting with informed commentary – they are labelled accordingly.
Sponsored content and commercial partnerships are always disclosed with a prominent label, such as “Sponsored” or “Paid Content”, and are governed by our Sponsored Content Policy. Articles that contain affiliate links are accompanied by a disclosure at the top or bottom of the page. What role does AI play in our journalism?
AI‑assisted tools may support research, drafting, formatting, translation, metadata generation, headline options, summaries and transcription. However, every piece of published editorial content is reviewed and approved by a human editor. AI must never fabricate quotes, sources, interviews, bylines, author experience or expert profiles. What you can expect from us
Weltanalyse.de is owned by Hafenstadt Media Limited, a private company registered in Gibraltar. Our funding comes from display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and content licensing – all transparently managed. Commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions. Sponsored or commercial material is clearly labelled, and affiliate links are disclosed. We maintain editorial independence at all times. No advertiser, sponsor or partner has influence over the selection, framing or publication of our news, analysis or opinion content.
How do we handle mistakes?
We take accuracy seriously. If an error is identified – by our team, by a source or by a reader – we correct it promptly and transparently. Corrections are documented in the article itself and logged in our Corrections Policy. For factual errors, readers can email corrections@weltanalyse.de directly. For broader concerns about editorial standards or a specific piece, we have a formal Complaints Procedure that guarantees a timely, fair review by the relevant editor or the Chefredaktör.
