Weltanalyse is owned and operated by Nordklar Media Ltd, a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 91844). Its registered office is at Level 3, Tower Business Centre, Tower Street, Swatar, Birkirkara, BKR 4013, Malta. The publication was founded in 2024 and is run as an independent digital news publisher focused on Swedish news, politics, economy, culture and society for readers in Sweden and internationally. All editorial decisions are made in Sweden under the direction of the editor-in-chief.

Who owns Weltanalyse?

Weltanalyse is wholly owned by Nordklar Media Ltd, a private company incorporated in Gibraltar. The company’s registered address is Level 3, Tower Business Centre, Tower Street, Swatar, Birkirkara, BKR 4013, Malta. Nordklar Media Ltd also holds the commercial rights to the publication and is responsible for its business operations, but editorial content is produced independently by the Swedish newsroom.

Ownership is transparent and fully disclosed. There are no shareholders with hidden agendas, and no political party, government body or external interest group controls or influences the editorial line. The company’s sole purpose is to sustain trustworthy, independent journalism.

How is Weltanalyse funded?

Weltanalyse is funded through a mix of display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships, and content licensing. All revenue streams are managed by Nordklar Media Ltd and are clearly separated from editorial decision-making.

Display advertising appears on the site and in the newsletter. Affiliate links are used where relevant and are always disclosed. Commercial partnerships and sponsored content comply with our sponsored content policy; such material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent journalism. Full details of our approach to advertising and affiliate revenue are available in our advertising and affiliate disclosure. Content licensing allows other media outlets to republish our work under agreed terms, providing an additional income stream that does not affect editorial output.

How do we guarantee editorial independence?

Editorial independence is a core principle at Weltanalyse. No commercial partner, advertiser, sponsor or owner may dictate or influence the content we publish. Every article is selected, reported, edited and fact-checked by journalists working according to our editorial policy.

Funding sources are transparent and never tied to coverage decisions. Our journalists are not involved in sales or partnership negotiations. The newsroom operates under the sole authority of the editor-in-chief, who reports to the board of Nordklar Media Ltd but retains full control over editorial standards, story selection and corrections. Any sponsored or commercial material is clearly separated from editorial content and labelled accordingly. Readers can always see whether a piece is independent journalism or commercially supported.

What you can expect from us

You can expect clear, factual reporting that avoids spin, oversimplification and clickbait. Every article is written by a named journalist, reviewed by an editor, and fact-checked before publication. AI-assisted tools may support research or formatting, but never replace human editorial judgement; all published content is approved by a human editor.

We correct mistakes promptly and transparently. Our corrections policy outlines how errors are handled. We also maintain a fact-checking policy that governs source verification. Our mission is to help readers understand complex issues in Swedish news and current affairs without distortion.

Who oversees editorial governance?

The editor-in-chief, David Schuster, is accountable for all editorial content, publication decisions and corrections. He can be reached at anders.lindqvist@weltanalyse.de or +46 8 525 030 61. The full editorial team – including the news editor, political editor, economics reporter, culture editor and fact-checking editor – is listed on our team page.

Any reader concerns about editorial governance, including potential conflicts of interest or breaches of ethical standards, can be directed to the editor-in-chief. The publication follows a formal complaints procedure, detailed in our complaints procedure. All complaints are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner.

How can I advertise or partner with Weltanalyse?

Advertising and partnership enquiries should be sent to advertising@weltanalyse.de. We offer display advertising, newsletter sponsorships, sponsored content opportunities and affiliate programmes. All commercial arrangements are subject to our advertising and affiliate disclosure and sponsored content policy.

Potential partners should note that commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions. We do not accept paid placements that would mislead readers or compromise our independence. For general business enquiries, use our contact page.
