How can you submit a takedown request?
Send a written notice to copyright@weltanalyse.de with the subject line “Takedown Request”. Your notice must include: (1) a clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed; (2) the exact URL or location of the material on weltanalyse.de; (3) your contact information (name, address, phone number, email); (4) a statement that you have a good‑faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf; and (6) your physical or electronic signature. We will acknowledge receipt within two business days.
What happens after we receive a takedown request?
Upon receiving a valid notice, our editorial team, led by Chefredaktör David Schuster and supported by Stefanie Lang (Ansvarig för faktagranskning), will review the request. We may remove or disable access to the material while we investigate. If we determine the claim is legitimate, the content will be permanently removed and we will notify the submitting party. If we believe the claim is unfounded, we may reject the request and explain our reasoning. In all cases we keep a record of the notice and our response in line with our Editorial Policy.

We treat all takedown requests seriously and consistently. Our process is transparent: we confirm receipt, investigate promptly, and communicate our decision. We do not remove content based on anonymous or unsubstantiated claims. When we do remove material, we update the relevant page with a notice explaining the removal.
